A well-planned murder or making a guy commit suicide is one and the same thing. Last Sunday unexpected news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide had made many people sad and a piece of news is being spread all over that the suicide was committed due to depression which he was facing with, but is it the depression which made the brilliant actor commit suicide?
After this incident, many Bollywood personalities came out and exposed reality of the industry. In the recent video of Kangana Ranaut, she made everyone known to the nepotism happening in Bollywood. In a 2 minute video, Kangana says, “Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has shaken us, but some people are saying that those who have a weak mind get depressed and die by suicide. I’d like to say that Sushant was a rank-holder, how can his mind be weak?”. She added that “ If you look at his last few posts, he is clearly saying, literally begging, ‘Watch my films. I have no Godfather. I will be taken out of the industry. He never got acknowledgement for his films, no awards for his films like ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Chhichhore’ and ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. While films like ‘Gully Boy’ got all the awards. ”
According to some sources and news handles , Sushant Singh Rajput was being signed for 6 movies in 2020 but, he was removed from 4 movies. This was not the first time it happened, in the movie Bajirao mastani Sushant Singh Rajput was contacted for the role of Bajirao, later he was removed from the movie without any reason and was replaced by Ranveer Singh. Not only this movie but, Fitoor is also the movie which was offered to Sushant Singh Rajput but was replaced by Aditya Roy Kapoor. He was not being appreciated for his work also, he was not being included/invited to any Bollywood parties.
My question is: Is it necessary to have Godfather in Bollywood to get a movie? Is talent not enough to work in this industry? Is having a Bollywood background a necessity ? Or he came from television industry to Bollywood is the reason for not being treated equally? Many such questions are arising against some big names of Bollywood like, Karan Johar, Salman Khan, YRF, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and many more, who are held responsible for raising nepotism amongst the industry.
